Where the BlixtFS server runs.
Container images
BlixtFS is distributed as container images on Docker Hub, under
docker.io/blixtfs/. Every image is built for:
- linux/amd64 (x86-64)
- linux/arm64 (ARM64, including AWS Graviton, Google Axion, Ampere and Apple silicon)
The images are based on Ubuntu 26.04.

| Kubernetes | Supported through the Helm chart (early access) and Kustomize, with overlays for Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud and MinIO. |
| MacOS with Docker Desktop | Supported for evaluation and small deployments. Publish ports; host networking isn’t available. |
| Windows with Docker Desktop (WSL 2) | Supported for evaluation and small deployments. |
There are no native packages for Linux distributions. Use the container images.
